Lesser kestrel

During the spring months the arrival in our fields of one of the most beautiful raptors of our avifauna, the Lesser Kestrel. Newly arrived from his wintering quarters in the African continent, he looks for the few farm buildings, old buildings and monuments of towns and cities to nest.

 

Through this route, we will know all the curiosities about this small bird of prey while we delight with its sifting, the capture of innumerable prey or the squeals that betray its presence. We will also have the luck to observe numerous species that share the habitat with this species, such as, for example, the Screech Sparrow, the Redstart, the Jackdaw, the European Little Owl or the Barn Owl.
