On the steep slopes of the Sierra de Gredos something happens once a year. The echo of deep and dry thumping resounds through the mountain. It is the zeal of the most representative mammal of the Central System.
The majestic males face long battles to be able to reproduce with a harem of females. They observe them while feeding in small groups with the goats of a few years.
On our route we will walk a section that will allow us to observe them. In addition we will be able to observe numerous species of birds that share habitat with this mammal.
