Raptors

With capricious orography, Spain is the bastion of raptors in Europe. In the rocks we can see the Vulture Buzzard and the Egyptian Vulture, the Peregrine Falcon and the Golden Eagle among others.

The forests, especially the Mediterranean forest, host another good number of these beautiful birds. Thus on a spring day we may have the luck to observe black kites, road eagles, black vultures and European snakes, and even very occasionally a scattering copy of the Iberian Imperial Eagle flying through the skies.
